I really like the look of this lamp, it was just what I was looking for. and compared to other online retailers Amazon had the best price. But still, for that price I had certain expectations. The legs of the lamp are not solid wood, and are made from more of a pressed wood product with an easily chipped finish. When I was assembling the legs to the light fixture the finish chipped away without much of a bump. In any case, this was disappointing. I am unsure if I will keep the product at this time. That is a lot of money for a light that may not hold up to daily household traffic. Also, less of a issue and more just for the sake of mentioning. The switch is a dimmer switch. Not a 4-way.
