I love this lamp and, of course, the shade makes the lamp. It is elegant, beautiful, and provides an extra warmth of gold and subdued green. Don't judge the lamp by the daylight - it may give the appearance of being dark and heavy. You really have to wait until dusk, turn it on, and say ahhhhhhhh...now that's the lamp I wanted.
